Play service

Introduction

Calderdale Play Service works primarily with children and young people aged between 5 and 14 years. Our aim is to provide inclusive and quality play opportunities across the Calderdale Borough. The main type of provision we offer is open access: children and young people are free to access the provision as they please.

The Play Service seeks to work with community groups, schools and other associations that are either already providing play activities or wish to develop local play provision.

The service seeks to foster independence and self esteem through active participation in the development of play provision to meet young people's needs.

The following sessions will run until 27 March 2010.  February half term times may vary.
