The centre provides a day care service for children aged 0-5 years. For more information about opening times and prices, please feel free to ring the centre.
A range of activities is offered across our three sites in Mixenden. These include:

| Tuesday | Midwife clinic | 9.00 am to 2.00 pm | At the centre's lower site. To make an appointment please ring the midwife team on 01422 251095. |
| Tuesday | Bumps n Tots | 9.15 am to 11.00 am | Every week for parents and children from bumps to children aged up to 2 years, free fun activities and refreshments, just turn up at the lower site |
| Tuesday | Read, Rattle and Roll | 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm | Held at Mixenden library this is a free session, just turn up for a story, singing and creative session. |
| Wednesday | Big and Little explorers | 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm | Join in with fun play activities with your child/children at the centre's lower site. £1.50 per family just turn up. |
| Thursday | Little Angels Playgroup | 9.00 am to 1.00 pm | Every Thursday at Holy Nativity Church. Cost of £2.00 per adult. Family fun activities also includes lunch. |

| Saturday | Messy Saturday’s | 10.00 am to 12.00 pm | Messy Saturday’s happen once a month to find out the date of the next one, please ring the centre, free fun arts and crafts for all the family. |
Counselling
Counselling is offered for a range of issues, ie: bereavement, stress, anxiety, post-natal depression, anger management, assertiveness, confidence building, depression, relationship issues, domestic violence, self-esteem and family issues. It is a free confidential service. Offered on different days in most of Calderdale's children's centres by appointment only. Please ring 01422 250081 to make a referral.

Training opportunities
We offer many different courses at our children's centre, for example first aid, story sacks, fun cooking sessions, confidence building, family arts and crafts. Contact the centre for further information.
