Adult learning
Introduction

Our Spring 2010 courses are here to help you pick the course that is right for you. Read on and you will find out about the different courses running at our three main centres across Calderdale. All our courses are offered to adults aged 19 years and over.
You may want to participate in adult learning to change your lifestyle, be creative, intellectually challenged and stimulated. You may want to learn for your health, to gain new skills, develop your family, community or enhance your quality of life as well as access to work and career opportunities.
If you are unable to attend a class in the daytime or evening, we also have ‘Saturday courses’ available in IT, Languages and Leisure & Lifestyle subject areas. You are sure to find a course to interest you, whatever your starting point and whatever your interest. So whether you are a regular learner or a first-timer, why not take up a challenge for the New Year? The benefits can be inspiring and life-changing – and you will never know until you try!
Learning takes place at Adult Learning Centres in Todmorden, Halifax and Brighouse, so you will not have far to travel
