All tables refer to employment in the area shown. The data is drawn from sample surveys and its main value lies in tracing the changes in sector, gender and part and full-time employment over time.
From the 2001 Census 24% of those working in Calderdale travel from other districts to work here. 28% of Calderdale's employed residents travel to work in other areas.
