The countdown to brand new swimming pools and fitness centres in Calderdale has begun, with just eight weeks to go to a new leisure centre at Brighouse and 12 weeks for Sowerby Bridge.

Whole cities have been evacuated as Pakistan's flood surge travels south down the Indus River.
