Directorate workforce Equality Impact Assessments 2011
The Council has conducted Directorate Workforce Equality Impact Assessments (EIAs) on the proposed staffing reductions and wishes to consult with staff members and trade unions. The purpose of the Directorate based EIAs are to ensure that we:
- aim to maintain a diverse workforce
- identify any possible adverse impact on workforce profiles
- mitigate any negative impacts where possible.
We wish to consult and involve staff to seek ways we can possibly mitigate any adverse impact.

The consultation with the Council's workforce closed 22 April 2011. Consultation with the Council's workforce will re-open if there are any further proposals to reduce staffing further.
