The Local Authorities (Referendums) (Petitions and Directions) (England) Regulations 2000

Notice is given in accordance with regulations 4 and 5 of the above Regulations that the number that is equal to 5 per cent of the number of local government electors for the area of the Borough as shown in the register of electors for the period ending on the 15 February 2011 is 7348

The number so published above will have effect for the purposes of determining the validity of petitions presented to the Borough Council after 31 March 2011 and before 1 April 2012 in respect of constitutional arrangements for the discharge of functions under Part II of the Local Government Act 2000
