Calderdale Customer First

Introduction

Customer First gives you access to a wide range of council services via the internet, by phone or in person.

The Customer First team have put together the questions they are most often asked about Council services. You can search the questions (and answers!) by typing in a keyword. See FAQs .

Residents told us they wanted better contact with the council by phone, and that they wanted the questions answered first time, every time. In 2006 Calderdale council introduced a new telephone Contact Centre to allow you to contact Customer First by Phone.

From April 2006, you can call the Customer First Contact Centre to ask about all sorts of things. To help deal with your calls quickly and effectively, our Customer First team will be split into three specialist areas. You can call:

In Todmorden access to Council’s services is easy since the development of a Calderdale Customer First Service Centre. In Todmorden residents and visitors can access a wide range of services, from a single point of contact, in person.
