The Council encourages involvement in the development of local services via forums, petitions and surveys. Past, current and future consultations can be found in Calderdale Engage, the consultation portal.

Calderdale Citizens' Panel

The Council's Citizens' Panel currently consists of over 1500 randomly selected people, who receive surveys on a range of issues related to Council services and residents' priorities. Newsletters are provided with each survey, detailing the results of previous surveys and how we have responded to the Panel's views.

Calderdale's speed limits

Calderdale Council is considering the best way of extending 20mph limits across Calderdale and we would like your views.

Community consultations

Calderdale Engage is the Council's consultation portal. You can become involved in the consultation process by registering your interests.

Discretionary rate relief

Because of the increasing costs of the current scheme, the Council is reviewing how it allocates rate relief to charities, voluntary groups and non-profit making organisations.

Voluntary sector commissioning

The Council needs to save £220,000 from its fund for financing activities in the voluntary sector. We want to know from you what your priorities are.

Ward forums

Ward Forums provide an opportunity for you to have your say. Hosted by Calderdale Councillors, forums are held regularly throughout the borough and give you the chance to have your say about what is important to you.
