Financial strategy
Payments to suppliers
All councils are expected to publish details of spending on goods and services - from car hire to consultancy fees, from storage to software costs - which fall above the £500 threshold.
Statement of Accounts
The Council's Statement of Accounts aims to give electors, those subject to locally levied taxes and charges, members of the Authority, and other interested parties clear information about the Council's finances.
Audit letter
The Council's external auditors are required to produce an annual audit letter under audit codes of practice. It comments on the Council's accounts, governance arrangements, performance management and audit plan for the coming year.
