Household waste recycling sites

The household waste recycling sites give residents the ability to recycle and dispose of unwanted domestic and household waste free of charge. The opening times of the sites vary seasonally, with the sites being open longer in the summer.

Please note:
Summer refers to the period when clocks change to British Summer Time.
Winter refers to the period when clocks revert to Greenwich Mean Time.

As well as the household waste recycling sites, there are a number of smaller “mini” recycling sites throughout Calderdale, normally situated on car parks, at Supermarkets or at garden centres. See where to recycle .
