Fees and charges

Introduction

Calderdale Libraries currently have three fee / charge rates for items available for loan, dependent on customers circumstances - Standard Rate, Children's Rate and Passport to Leisure Rate.

Items which are marked * are available at selected libraries only.

We also offer free Internet access (free for 1 hour per day) and print outs from this are charged at 10p per A4 sheet.

The Central Library has three Meeting Rooms which are available for hire. A PowerPoint projector and a laptop computer are also available to hire. There is also a drinks vending machine and a water cooler available for public use.

The Reference and Information Service offers a Research Service. This is charged at the rate of £15.50 per ½ hour, which includes VAT, postage and one free photocopy. Extra photocopies will be charged for. A maximum of one hour will be spent on each enquiry.
