The Library Edition of this resource is available free of charge from all Calderdale libraries. Content highlights include Census information (not 1911), England and Wales birth, marriage and death indexes, parish registers of the West Riding of Yorkshire, military and Poor Law records.

Find My Past
Find My Past is free to use in the Central Reference Library, Halifax, or, on Wednesdays only, in Todmorden Library. Family historians may be particularly interested in the 1911 Census but a wide range of other databases is also available. 2 customers can log in to the site at any one time. 19th Century British Library Newspapers
A freely available site available from all libraries and also from home, using your Calderdale library card. Several newspapers specifically cover the Calderdale area but local reports can also be found by searching across all publications.

From Weaver to Web: online visual archive of Calderdale history
This archive of Calderdale history, gives access to over 23,000 images, accompanied by supporting historical information. It is largely based on the collections in Calderdale Central Reference Library, where it continues to be maintained and added to.
