Access for all
Based in the Central Library, Halifax, the service provides specialist equipment to enable people with disabilities or sensory impairment to use computers, access the Internet and communicate.
Asylum seekers
Help and advice is available for families and single adults who arrive in Calderdale through the National Asylum Support Service.
Citizenship ceremonies
When an application for citizenship has been granted, a ceremony must take place within 3 months. The Register Office sends the applicant an invitation to attend the next available ceremony.

A Teacher Co-ordinator for Traveller children in Kirklees and Calderdale works to identify traveller children and to support access and achievement for them in schools.
