Everyone different, everyone matters
Age
The legislation, which came into force in October 2006, sends a clear message to employers and society that age discrimination is no longer acceptable, but on its own it is not enough to tackle age discrimination.
Calderdale Council is working towards eliminating age discrimination within its employment and service delivery through the implementation of Calderdale Equality and Diversity Scheme 2007-2010 , age equality action plan.
