Community wardens

Introduction

Their services include:

• providing information to community groups
• assisting schools with a walking bus scheme
• arranging removal of abandoned vehicles
• arranging removal of needles and other drug-related paraphernalia
• assisting the Fire and Rescue Service by reporting possible combustible waste
• providing information about the Fire Service's free home fire assessments
• providing crime prevention information for residents
• reporting incidents of antisocial behaviour
• providing information on fly tipping and removal of bulky waste, see
• arranging removal of graffiti, see graffiti removal helpline
• assisting groups with 'community clean ups'

Community Wardens are there for you and these are just a few of the services they provide. If you need assistance, please ask a Warden.
