Tenants Association
The following is a brief outline of the work the Halifax Borough Market Tenant's Association is involved in. The list is not exhaustive but highlights the main functions of the Tenants Association.
- To represent all tenants with negotiations on rent, service charge and rate reviews
- To ensure that our members wishes and ideas are brought to the committee for full and frank consideration, and are acted upon
- To negotiate with the Borough Market management opening times at holiday periods e.g. Christmas, New Year, Easter etc.
- To hold regular meetings with the Market management to promote positive discussion in relation to ideas for improvement and maintaining sustainability of the Borough Market
- To promote the market in general through the co-operation of the Tenants and Market management team
- To hold meetings and inform members of issues that may affect the effective operation of both the Borough Market and individual business.
