The impressive and historic Borough Market was built between 1891 and 1896 and today dominates Halifax town centre. The exquisite Victorian architecture, much of which is still in its original state, makes this a building of great architectural and historic interest and hence the building is Grade II listed. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of a thriving retail market with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Nestled in the Pennines at the point where Yorkshire meets Lancashire is the picturesque and rural town of Todmorden. The best traditions of both counties can be appreciated in this extremely friendly town where undoubtedly its heart is its buzzing market hall and colourful open market.
A typical northern market with an intimate and friendly atmosphere. Held once a week on a Friday, Elland market offers a range of locally produced food and goods as well as a miscellany of general retail goods.

Located in the centre of this once thriving industrial town, Sowerby Bridge open air market offers a vast array of fresh foods on a Tuesday and Friday and bargains galore second hand goods on a Thursday and Saturday.
Calderdale runs two local food, craft and produce markets, one situated at Russell Street, Halifax held every third Saturday of the month and the other situated at Lees Yard, Hebden Bridge held every first and third Sunday of the month and craft every second Sunday of the month. Both markets sell locally produced food and are held to encourage social interaction and to reduce food miles.
