Introduction
At Calderdale Building Control Services we are proud of our professional, value for money Building Regulation Service. As a non-profit making organisation working within the local authority we aim to keep our charges to a minimum.;
The Government have set rules that require us from 1st October 2010 to ensure the full cost recovery of our Building Regulation Service without support from the tax payer, and to ensure that the user pays for the service they receive.
Our new Scheme of charges now include a broader range of standard fees, including the creation of domestic dwellings, domestic extensions, domestic alterations, small new build or extensions to non domestic premises, and new build, extensions and alterations to non domestic premises, including the installation of mezzanine floors.

Please note
Currently the old Building Regulation fees (prior to 1 October 2010) are embedded in the electronic Building Regulation application form, therefore when you reach the Fee Calculator page the fees quoted on screen are incorrect.
During the development of a new fee structure you are advised that payment by Credit / Debit Card or Cheque via this web e-form is not available and you are requested to contact Building Control Services for an accurate fee.
