Approved venues for ceremonies
The following venues in Calderdale are licensed for Civil Weddings and Civil Partnership Ceremonies. They are also available for Naming and Renewal of Vows Ceremonies.To book a ceremony you will need to contact the proprietor of the venue.
You will also need to contact Calderdale Register Office, on 01422 288080, to book registration officers to conduct the ceremony. Bookings are taken a maximum of 12 months in advance, either in person or via the telephone. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking.
Ceremonies may take place on any day of the week (up to 3.00pm on weekdays and 3.30pm at weekends), subject to availability, with the exception of designated bank and public holidays.
