Park Wood Crematorium
Facilities
The crematorium chapel has seating facilities for 88 people, with extra room for standing at the back of the chapel. There is also a separate waiting room for those arriving early for funeral services, where hot and cold drinks are available.
We have a team of four organists who are available to play on a service, if required.
Other facilities include ramps for disabled access to the entrance and exit of the crematorium, disabled toilet facilities, and there is a loop system fitted in the service chapel.
The car park is situated to the right of the crematorium building, and has space for approximately fifty cars. Arrangements are currently being made to extend the present car parking facilities.
Monthly memorial service
There is a monthly memorial service held at Park Wood Crematorium for families who have attended funerals that month.
The service is conducted by a member of the local clergy, and is held on the second Sunday of every month at 3.00 pm. Please contact the administration office for further details.
