Highway flooding / watercourses
If the flooding is obviously caused by blocked road gullies, contact Street Care.
Landowners are responsible for ensuring that watercourses are maintained free from blockage. This includes pipes and culverts as well as open streams, ponds and mill races. The Council has powers to require landowners to fulfil that duty. If you suffer from or observe flooding from this source and need more information, contact Street Care.
