Services for victims, survivors and perpetrators
For people in same-sex relationships
For people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, the fear of reporting domestic violence or of leaving an abusive partner is often compounded by the abuser's threat to 'out' them.
Most of the services listed in these pages are available to people regardless of their sexuality. Individuals may, however, prefer to access specialist services, or be supported by workers with an understanding of their sexuality or lifestyle.
