Services for victims, survivors and perpetrators
For perpetrators of domestic violence
West Yorkshire Probation Service provides a group programme called the Integrated Domestic Abuse Programme (IDAP) for court-mandated male perpetrators of domestic violence. There is no voluntary perpetrator programme in Calderdale, but men from Calderdale can attend the programme in Bradford, if they are prepared to travel this far.
The Maze Project
The Maze Project, based in the Domestic Violence Support Team at Calderdale Women's Centre, works with families facing chronic social exclusion where domestic violence is a key factor.
The Maze Project supports people to make positive change. It works with women who are affected by domestic violence, their partners and their children, who are not accessing services that could make a difference to their lives. The Project has a male worker to work with men who are abusive in their relationships.
